Establishing another new routine

I have been so busy since the day I came back from Beijing. Adjusting to staying with my parents again, adjusting to taking care of bibi alone over weekends, adjusting to having to take bus/mrt to work and adjusting to life without Desmond. So far it was tough in the beginning when we (my family and myself) have not establish a routine. Everything was so not in synch and random. It took us at least a week to settle down - to pack my things neatly in the utility room and get Isaac used to living with my parents.

After settling the home front, I need to settle Desmond's stuff. There were bills to be paid and outstanding stuff to settle. Oh boy, i was like a secretary to Desmond's unfinished matters in Singapore. Thereafter, I had to settle my work, tendered my resignation as an academic stuff and converted to an academic associate. Then I had to contact my research contacts back and informed them that I am available for research consultancy once again! Glad that some far responses have been positive and am meeting a couple of them over these two weeks to discuss research plans for their organisation. I simply LOVE research. So much better than that Specialist Diploma in Healthcare Education. That was like a piece of dead meat shoved into my throat, disgusting! I rather be PIs of several COLs then be the module chair for this.
